Biography

 

Marie-Caroline Kfoury began her training with Julio Pardo, tenor at the Madrid opera. 

After two years in Spain, she returned to France and obtained the  "diplôme des Maîtres de Chant Français"

(advanced level) and entered  the Charles Munch Conservatoire in Paris where she studied vocal technique and operetta  with Fusako Kondo and  Nicole Broissin.

After graduating in music from Paris University, she continued her studies in Italy at the Osimo Academy of Lyric Art and  at The Santa Cecilia  Conservatoire in Rome. 

She also attended  the  Chigiana academy in Sienna and participated in masterclasses with

Raina Kabaivanska, Anita Cerquetti, Viorica Cortez

During  "Saisons de la voix" in Gordes she sang in   Jeff Cohen's masterclass on French Art songs and German lieder.

In April 2013, Teresa Berganza  selected her masterclass at the Musical Academy of Villecroze.

 

 

       On stage, Marie-Caroline has sung the following  rôles :

 

D.Anna and D.Elvira in Mozart's D.Giovanni

Mali in J.Strauss's  Vienna Waltzes  at the  Bordeaux Opera

​The Countess in Mozart's  Marriage of Figaro  in  Luxembourg.

She has given many recitals and solo performances  with choirs. These have included works such as

Poulenc's and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater , Fauré's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria and Magnificat , Handel's  Dixit Dominus and The Messiah,   Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle  Schubert's

Mass in G and Mass in Ab, Mendelssohn's Lauda Sion, Mozart's Requiem, Missa Brevis and Coronation Mass , Dvorak's and Rutter's Requiem  ...
